Why Germany

Great degrees,
without the debt.

Why Germany has quietly become the smartest-value destination for Indian students.

Free public universities

Most public universities charge no tuition, even for non-EU students — just a small semester fee (~€150–350), often including a transport pass.

  • No tuition at most public unis
  • Small semester contribution
  • Baden-Württemberg charges non-EU ~€1,500/sem

English-taught Master's

Hundreds of programmes are fully in English. German isn't needed for admission, though some helps daily life and work.

  • 100s of English programmes
  • No German needed to get in
  • A1–A2 helps for jobs & life

Engineering & tech

CS, Data Science, Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, Renewable Energy — with deep industry links that mean internships and jobs.

  • TU9 technical universities
  • Universities of Applied Sciences
  • Strong industry pipeline

Work while you study

Students can work part-time to help cover living costs and build local experience for after graduation.

  • Part-time work allowed
  • Helps cover living costs
  • Builds local experience

18-month stay-back

After graduating, an 18-month job-seeker permit to find skilled work — with a clear route to longer-term residence.

  • 18-month job-seeker visa
  • Pathway to PR
  • Real post-study prospects

Two intakes a year

Winter (October) is the big one; Summer (April) is smaller and less competitive. We help you target the right one.

After Class 12 · Bachelor route

Studienkolleg,
your bridge after 12th.

Indian school certificates usually don't qualify for direct Bachelor admission in Germany. The Studienkolleg — a one-year foundation course ending in the Feststellungsprüfung (FSP) — is the proven bridge. We place students through partner Studienkollegs, including Düsseldorf and Paderborn.

What it is

A one-year preparatory course at a German college that ends with the FSP exam — pass it, and you hold a university entrance qualification for German Bachelor programmes.

  • 2 semesters, taught in German
  • Ends in the FSP exam
  • Opens public & private universities

Pick the right track

Your course track decides which degrees you can enter afterwards — choose it around your career, not by accident.

  • T-Kurs — engineering & tech
  • W-Kurs — business & economics
  • M-Kurs — medicine & life sciences
  • G/S-Kurs — humanities & languages

Partner placements

Public Studienkolleg seats are scarce and fiercely contested. We place students directly through partner Studienkollegs — including Düsseldorf, Paderborn and more — with guidance on entrance tests and the German level you'll need.

  • Partner colleges across Germany
  • Aufnahmetest (entrance) prep guidance
  • German B1–B2 path planned with you

German language

Learn the language,
through trusted partners.

Most Master's are taught in English, so German isn't needed to get in — but A1–B1 makes the visa, part-time work and everyday life far easier. We arrange classes through tutors and institutes we know and trust.

Matched to your level

From absolute beginner (A1) up to B1 — we point you to the right partner course for where you're starting and the time you have before you leave.

Tutors we trust

Classes run by German teachers and institutes we actually know — not a random marketplace. Online or in-person, depending on the partner.

Timed around your plan

We fit language learning into your application timeline, so it supports your visa and arrival instead of clashing with deadlines.

Usually not directly — Indian school certificates typically don't count as a German university entrance qualification on their own. The standard bridge is the Studienkolleg: a one-year foundation course ending in the FSP exam. We place students through partner Studienkollegs (Düsseldorf, Paderborn and others) and plan the German language path alongside it. Tell us your subjects and target degree on the free call and we'll map your exact route.
At most public universities, yes — no tuition fee, even for Indian students. You pay a small semester contribution (often ~€150–350) that often includes a transport pass. The exception is Baden-Württemberg, which charges non-EU students roughly €1,500/semester. Private universities charge full fees, and we'll always tell you which is which.
The APS verifies your Indian academic documents, and it's mandatory for almost every Indian student applying for a German student visa for a degree programme. It currently costs ₹18,000 (non-refundable) and takes about 6–10 weeks, so it's the very first thing to start — before applications. We guide you through it.
For 2026 you must show €11,904 for the year (€992/month) in a blocked account (Sperrkonto). It's your own money — once you arrive in Germany it's released back to you monthly for living costs. Providers like Fintiba and Expatrio are commonly used. Open it before your visa appointment. You'll also need German health insurance — public student cover from providers like TK or AOK — which we help you set up; it's required for both the visa and university enrollment.
For an English-taught Master's, usually not for admission. But some German (A1–A2) makes daily life, part-time jobs and settling in much easier, and helps with jobs after graduation. We'll tell you honestly how much your path needs.
It depends on the programme — there's no single cutoff. Strong technical profiles, relevant projects and a genuine SOP matter a lot. We look at your real marks and tell you which universities are realistic, not just what you want to hear.
Earlier than you think — the APS alone can take 6–10 weeks, so begin 8–12 months before your intake. Aiming for Winter 2026 (October)? Now is the time. Tight on time? Message us and we'll be honest about what's possible.
